OK, just trying out some new stuff with this track, and although its not great, im pleased with it, mainly cos i finished it (i even celebrated with cod and chips) :hihi:

Crash is too thin, and not sure about sample at the end. The mix is up for debate, cos im not used to the sound in my new 'studio' (read as small bedroom  ) and im sure my speakers are on the way out, so bear with me on that. (may be a tad bass heavey  )

Anyway, its called Acapulco Gold for obvious reasons when you hear it:

Comments most welcome, and if you want to donate money, please feel free

Kit List:

Orion Platinum

WaspXT x3
Karnage
PPG Wave
Poly-850
Classic Chorus
MDARoundPan

(the 'acid/303' sound at the start/end is a WaspXT and isnt really meant to sound like a 303, i just liked it)

BTW, i never touch the stuff myself ;)

neither do I , Krim :?

Nice mix though, Good rolling drums+bass, almost reminds me alot of older Chemical Bros, Bomb the Bass stuff. The samples fit well. Nice one!

Nice track but I would have prefeard to have more grit in the drums

:D

Nice drums, but I agree about the crash, louder and maybe some reverb or delay.

The rest is 8) too and the mix sounds fine to me.

Oh, and I'll have a pound please, not had any for years. :hihi:

:D fake :D
You cant beat people up then have them say "I love you"

sounds good (and tastes even better), but the samples need to be clearer, bass is good, but some of the synth elements could come up more in the mix.

I don't mean to jump off track, but what VST did you use for that lead in there? I love this, it sounds professional and well mixed.

very good track as usual Dave. Good to see (hear?) that you've overcome your creative block. Beats seem tougher than your usual which IMO is a good thing.

Do you mean the first sound? Can you say when it comes in?

not overly bass-heavy, but classy deep pumpin' happening.

Sounding great and that sweeping saw sure brings about a cool theme to this.
