Here it is:
(just thought that some tracks sounded cool when crossfaded into others)

01- Orb-E-ting

02- Aftermath
(without the short fade in, so it kicks in straight)
(crossfades into Shapes)

03- Shapes
(crossfades into Dark July)

04- Dark July

05- Frost On The Hills
(crossfades into Feelin')

06- Feelin'

07- Relative Tranquillity

08- Piggy In The Middle
(crossfades into 25mix3)

09- Blaster&Dekky - 25mix3
(works both with a crossfade or with Pinder that kicks in)

10- Pinder

11- Bluedad Vs Blaster
(crossfades into Southport KvR)

12- Southport KvR

13- Spiral In Deep

P.S.: Spiral in Deep crossfades nicely into Orb-E-Ting

just been seting this up, do you have any particular timings in mind as some of the tracks don't really gel together the way i have it (timing wise - i can see what you mean aesthetically)

anyone else ?

i'm hoping to get a load of suggestions so i can average out a bit. at the moment i have 3 very different opinions.

i know its a big download but i checked my domain logs and a lot of people have had them all.... are they just taking their time for the ultimate listing

cheers,

steve.

ok, i found it very hard to set up a coherent listing. i mean: there are lots of possibilities and none stands up as the incontestable winner.

the main principles that guided my work have been described in the other post: strong start and ending, and the law of contrast, and the idea of progression/journey (very subjective). IMO "southport" can only be first or last considering its own extremities and its "strength".

A note about mastering: you'll have to work hard in order to obtain an equal sound from one track to the other. bluedad vs blaster is rather different (not in a particularly good way) sound-wise. i'd advise to use pinder, feelin' and southport as references for mastering.

1. Shapes (good intro and strong track)
2. dark july
3. orb e ting
4. piggy in the middle
5. frost on the hills
6. feelin'
7. spiral in sleep
8. aftermath
9. relative tranquility
10. 25? mix3
11. bluedad vs blaster
12. pinder
13. southport kvr

in the end, the conclusion of this experiment might be; "Doth what thou wilt"... :D

BTW, all the music is very very enjoyable, thank you very much.

cheers

If'n that ain't the truth

oh, and that also goes for the "enjoyable music" issue.

Hi steve.

Still going through them. I do think that southport should be first though. You will need to change some track levels as well.

Can't seem to get the link to orb e ting?

Get back to you later.

:D "B" :D
You cant beat people up then have them say "I love you"
