Been sometime since I visited this forum. I can see its as lively as always.
Here is a track I did a few days ago- http://www.audioshots.com/auditorium/do ... hp?id=2250It is a easy flowing percussion tinged soul song sung in CiBemba. Some may say its Afro pop/World beat. All I can say is, it has a nice swing and fitting lilt.
Constructive criticism most welcome

Refreshing to hear something around here sung in a language which is very alien to me. Overall it's a bit too much pop for me but I appreciate the ethnic influence. Seems well mixed.

Armadillo, thanks for listening and the observation. The contemporary/ethnic mix is part of the whole concept. I wanted the song to appeal to a wider base at the same time holding on to elements from my culture.
The secret behind my mixes is unique sound placement (panning) and consistent room dimensioning (reverb). there is nothing more to it. I do appreciate you response
Thanks and kind regards
