Mr. Alias 2 AU: no sound in Logic or Ableton

Sorry my first post has to be a bug mention, as I LOOOOOVE Mr. Alias...! But:

Can't get Mr. Alias 2 (the free version) audio unit to output sound in either

Logic Pro 9.1.7

or

Ableton Live Lite 8.3.3

in OS 10.6.8, 2.6 gHz Intel Core 2 duo.

Mr. Alias Pro works fine in either one. (My only real reason for wanting to open the free version is to retrieve some .au preset sounds I'd saved, which don't seem to open in Pro...)

Mr. Alias 2 used to work for me, so perhaps it was an OS or voftware version upgrade that caused the problem...?

Not a huge deal, but wanted to bring it up just in case.

I'm way behind on this, but I have a working Mac now so I should update the amateur version with the fixes that are in Mr. Alias Pro. Though if you save the presets in MrAliasPatch format, they should work fine in Pro.

OK, I was able to get the presets from Mr. Alias 2 into Mr. Alias Pro by saving the Alias 2 sounds as alias presets rather than au presets. Still not sure why the Alias 2 AU isn't making sound anymore, but not a problem as I transferred all of my patches from there into Pro.
