Unable to play AS E-Pian & Wurlie

I've recently bought AS EPian & Wurlie and have been frustrated, not yet able to play them.
I've eventually managed to get UVI Workstation to open (by clicking control panel/admin tools/services/Pace/start- I got an error message previously and UVI W/S wouldn't open)- but I'm getting no midi in or audio out activity. I've been using many programs eg Kontakt player, Pianoteq with my Roland Um-One midi interface and Asio4all without problem. I've entered these in my preferences in the UVI program and I seem to be able to load instruments ok but there's no midi in or audio activity (eg no sound when I click a key on the interface's piano keyboard). Any ideas how to solve this?

Just to say Otristan fom the UVI team on another kvr forum has given me a successful solution to my problem.
