Sound 8 is a fun sample player app that can load up to 8 audio samples, each represented by a coloured circle. The screen is an X/Y grid where X is the volume and Y the pitch.

Circles can be moved with a finger or by tilting the device. Control can be a bit tricky but it is part of its charm.
