As I understood, one can use an "Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter" to connect a MIDI Keyboard to the iPad.
But can the Camera Adapter also be used to send MIDI from the iPad to the Mac?
Will the Mac recognize that a "MIDI controller" is connected?

Anyone using wireless methode to send MIDI from teh iPad to a Mac? Is the latency short enough to play melodies or does is the signal path too slow this way.

Background: I developed many of my melody lines using the Logic Remote app. But after updating to the current version of LogicPro, it will not connect anymore using an "ad hoc network" (WLAN-Menue/CREATE NETWORK). Connection via my home WLAN still works, but the signal delay is tooooo big to actually play something.
I just love playing virtual keyboard on the touch screen.....

You can also use the usb to lightning cable and an app like midimittr f.e. no CCK needed.
(Bluetooth works too with a bit more latency but still usable).
