OS X Virtual Midi Out?

First, thanks for the 2.6 update! I'm trying to get Virtual Midi Out to work in standalone mode with Ableton Live in OS X and am having difficulties. I've selected "Rapid Composer Virtual Midi Output" both for RC's Midi Out setting and the Midi Input in my Ableton Live track, but Live doesn't receive any of the notes being played in RC. Do I need to adjust any additional settings on the RC track in order to send Midi note data thru the virtual output?

I resolved the problem: I forgot that the RC track cannot be set to VSTi for midi out--it must be set to "GeneralMidi." Now it works.
