Nowhere else but in "The Palette" have I seen poetic rhythm as an analog of musical rhythm. I wonder why I have never seen the connection between the two anywhere else.

Does it create musical phrases in The Palette?

I have spent a weekend with The Palette. I think it's great. Definitely worth incorporating, if possible. It seems quite unique to me. Not a competition to Rapid Composer with all its bells and whistles, but a very well thought out exploration of the core process of creating a melody. The developer seems to have stopped working on it, though. No more updates since 2012, I believe. If I were Attila, I'd try to buy a license from him and incorporate it into RC. I think it would bring RC to a whole new level.
P.S.: Of course, that's just my humble opinion. I'm not an expert, neither in music-theory nor in programming. But I've seen and fooled around with lots of music-software. This one seems a pretty raw example to me, but unique.

Hi Nextom, I spent may be more than weekend with the Palette. Unfortunately, I could not share you enthusiasm. The theory is good, the result is weak, IMHO. It is better, than RComposer melody generators, but still far from good melodies.

I think, the Palette melody theory is quite wrong. In my opinion, ABAB+ theory (repetition) is better explains success of good melodies, and simplier.
