Thought I'd share in case it is of interest to anybody here:
http://www.paulinthelab.com/2013/09/dev ... l?spref=fb
Quick sound example, Run straight into interface line input without any processing here: https://soundcloud.com/pstevenson/devil ... cer-sample
Its a lot of fun I think, It works really well fed into any pedals and other processing and effects boxes/rack gear you might have
Does it sound analogue enough?
Best to all as always

Very cool little perf-board project! Thanks for sharing, dude.
Is this your recording? I'll have to give a listen when I get home from work.

Justin mate, No this is not my recording but a very close friend's design, build and sample, Good to hear from you dude...Its been ages
John I shall do my friend and just happy to share with you
Although I can't take any credit for any of the work...I did suggest heavily that it (The original devil's drone triangle) would be much more interesting to many people with a sequencer amongst quite a few other people.
If we can get chance then we'll probably post more examples with it being molested by whatever processing and effects chains we can throw together (My favourite part of meddling)
Speak soon and best to you two gent's

That's really interesting... I've had the original Devils Drone schematic sitting on my desktop for ages just never got around to building one... I did however have the idea to try and integrate a sequencer though I thought more about having it modify the drones rather than sequence the resulting drone. Time to get the breadboard out I guess.
Cheers.
Cheers.

I built something similar. featuring sawtooth/pwm vco, LFOs, envelopes and MS20-VCF. I'm doing electronics for a year

That is a much more flexible synthesizer cablebob and even though I freely admit to being no expert on synths by a long shot, To my ears it sounds very good also man. I think the sequencer part is key (sic) as it allows total freedom to get very familiar with such a beast, So yes looks and sounds like endless fun to me. Also I wish you are enjoying your study, I do not have the brain for it although I admire those that do for sure. Thank you for sharing dude
