I was a kickstarter backer, wound up with two of the blocks. I had fun for a while and wrote a few modules, but mostly it prompted me to start writing VST effects instead, and now I'm not using them. (I could probably be persuaded in a PM to sell them.)
The emulator software doesn't need the hardware for experimenting with bleepy synth sequences, but it does if you want to actually control it reasonably or use it for effects.

Got a set of 4 on the KS, but never got around to doing much with them. Should really hook them up to the Werkstatt or somehting.

I have been sorta futzing around with some pieces with the Monotron Delay....it does sound pretty good.
