Please read http://www.symantec.com/security_respon ... 08-1854-99 (google would have found you this), before making claims of malware.
The "alert" you claim to have is Symantec saying "I don't know this file, so I'll say its a risk". Quite possibly to encourage developers to pay them money to be white listed. Scam if you ask me.
Run a proper virus checker if you don't believe me.
