On loading a .txperf file, TW16Wx caused Reaper to crash with an Unhandled Exception.

Windows 7 / Reaper 32-bit. The debug file, TX16Wx1410193551.mdmp, was 252 MB big!

In the Action Center I found these two reports:

Debug file compresses nicely to ZIP or RAR into just a few MB.

I would really, really want that dump file. Or at least the perf + data you tried to load.

I tried it again and got the mdmp file - it compresses to 65 MB, still too big to send.

The crash occurs when loading the .txperf file into an "empty" TX16Wx. If I already have a .txprog loaded into a slot then the .txperf loads successfully.

DS, obviously I cannot not repro this. You need to provide the performance you are loading + the exact circumstances (host, DAW etc), _or_ again, get me the dump. The latter is preferable. I've sent an invite to a shared location so you can upload it.

Update: DS sent me the files, I've found and fixed the issue. Builds are updated (still no version bump - 24h rule! ;-) )

I DLed the latest installer (although it still says September 8 on the web page).

After installing the dll has a Date Modified of 08 September, and build 2.400.3539.991. That looks like the old one to me. The new one (dated 09 September) is nowhere to be seen.

I tried various uninstall / repairs / reinstalls to no avail.

Web caching? Google wonkyness? The version on the web page (which I just downloaded to verify) should (x64) be created 10.54 2014-09-09 (CET), with DLL version 2.400.3539.651.

Very weird. The web page now says 09 September, although I had not closed Firefox or done anything-else special.

I ran that installer, using the various Change / Repair / Uninstall options but could not get the latest dll installed. In the end I manually deleted the dll then ran Repair. I now have a dll dated 09 September 10:50, build ... 2.400.3539.647 (that's the 32-bit version).

[NB "Uninstall" didn't remove the dll file, though.]

And, phew, that txperf file doesn't crash it :)
