Okay, several questions leap quickly to mind:
1) I see by this, http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/news.html, that Concert Strings 3 is being revamped. How is the new Spotlight Orchestral Ensembles different from CS 3? Are the strings in SOE a subset of CS3? When is it projected to re-release CS3?
2) Does SOE require the full version of Kontakt 5?
3) Barring a non disclosure agreement, is Spotlight Orchestral Ensembles the sample library being included with Sonic Scores' new Overture 5 notaion program?
4) Regarding the user interface of SOE, it appears to be very simple compared to Concert Strings 2/3 or Concert Brass 2. As such, it seems to be very live performance oriented. Will there be the capability to control MIDI parameters using keyswitches and such with a notation/sequencer program like Overture?
As far the user interface goes, the only thing I can say anthing against it are the little wedges of music scores on the sides. Kind of annoying. I keep wanting to brush them aside.
Altogether, this is going to get very interesting very soon.
Best of luck, Kirk.
