I've modded my old Xtruder with an LFO and some controls that It lacked in the early beta.
I think now it has something else tu justify that you put your fingers over it (well... your cursors).

I've added some tweaks, like:
- EG rate selection, from linear to exponential. :)
- A*B operation mode to modulate/interoperate A and B in the premix stage, and next added to B oscillator.
- A Dualfilter with multiple combinations. :D
- Sync capabilities... well, it doesn't work well when combining Sync switch with Xt control due to the syncronized nature of the "Xt" modulation. :?

...and I need to know wht do you think about the control and the sound of this machine. :?: :?: :?:

Also, I've assigned some CC controls, but of course it uses my own Universal Synth Midi Control protocol... 8)

Hi, again, I'm at job now, could anyone post a "cutre"-jpg to show the world this awful sounding maschine??
Thanks in advance...

Post

Thank you for this. :D

In one of my songs, I used the MVX3 (I think) which kept alternating between cute softie and a big bass bottom. It sounded cool letting the built-in LFOs do the work, heh heh.

Cheers! ;)

Yours are some of THE HARDEST sounding SE badasses. TA!!

Big thanks boys!
This one is a bit different but it's still enhancing. I've been working hard for the last 3 days. The last beta uses a lot less CPU, and the performance has been enhanced. I've repatched the filters, added some combinations, a chorus-flanger and the oscillators sound a bit more "raw"... well if it is possible.
Also, I've corrected some EG errors and added some other modulations that should be in every synth.
And I'm polishing the USMC (Universal Synth Midi COntrol) to allow control all the prior parameters in any synth with a pair of Behringer's BCR2000 (I mean, a full featured MIDI CC implementation that could become a standard... of course, it could...)

Well, don't give this version an intensive usage, the next version will be incompatible due to the parameter list change and the "rewrite" of some parts.

Thanks to all of you (just 2! )

After some days of intensive work I've get the RC1 point.
So here's the result of all these efforts:

Added 2 LFO's, more filter modes, BLIT for oscillators, more oscillator operational modes, better performance, better sound, few but better presets (not a big deal...), a modulated feedback delay (buggy), modulation routes, velocity/aftertouch for come parameters... and a lot of work to make it behave in a human knowledge way.
ANyway I'll try to put a small guide with all the features.

Thanks

Well, after some testing, I think that this' going to stay as it has stood.
Any suggestion to corect parameter changes?

Woops, and there's also Facebook group for MVXsynths... not very useful, but it's there!

Well, Xtruder was finished some years ago, development and fixing stopped due to an HD data loss.
Unfortunately, the only backups available were from 2007, a lot of work was done between 2008 & 2011when I released 1.01 (Version M). It has some lacks and some complex possibilities, anyway, it's a great synth.

Here's the last version. Version M.
I've published a revision of each parameter in Spanish here:

Yes, but the presets are really not the best examples.
