Hi i want to have a little bit of distortion (fm) Has to be a simple way just to the cutoff.I use for every filter type a different module this saves some CPU and not only the synthedit filter but also an other one for the lowpass.

A filter between oscillators? I don't know much about FM, I generally multiply it by whatever, then use an Ez math Add module. I have one now where it's got a filter in there, but it's experimental.

afaik the conventional method of "filter distortion" is to clip/apply nonlinearity to one of more of the poles, which would be coded into the filter. i used this structure for some filter modes in adze, which is a percussion sampler.. sounded alright there. tried it with a synth and didn't think it sounded good running oscillators through it. but that's nothing to do with fm.
