That sounds interesting.

I often think it would be funny to have the computer randomly create a patch. It might lead to laughter or perhaps ideas one wouldn't consciously invent.

I am still trying to figure out how this thing works.. even signal flow, however this has to be one of the prettiest GUI's I have ever seen.....

Will Bazille get a chorus effect?

We thought that not adding a chorus or a "normal" reverb is a bit of a statement here. We encourage direct, open, loud, "cutting through" sounds with this. We think that there are other synths that are more suited for pad and brass sounds, especially CPU-wise.

But of course we hope to be proven wrong ;-)

I must be blind but where can I change the delay fx time/sync?

Post

OK, got a weird problem. After a reinstall I have the crackling, even when licensed.

1. Installed Bazille
2. Used the "Public beta" license info - NO crackle, as expected
3. Bought a Bazille license
4. Uninstalled and then reinstalled and used "my" license info
5. Crackle appeared
6. Reinstalled again and used the "Public Beta" info - Crackle appears again
I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.

Made this with two instances of Bazille. Happy to see I can make the thing sound nice to my ears. Can't wait to see what proper sound designers are going to do :hihi:

Thanks Urs
The effects are as good as £80 plugins. Bazille does indeed suit being without a chorus. Really takes me back to 60s 70s sci-fi and horror movies. I'm buying in a month.

In the user guide. Pretty sure I wrote that bit already (though it's otherwise unfinished).

Left, centre, right knobs change the delay time for each delay position.

Thanks Kaboom (and sorry to softska for my flippant reply)

(and cool patch, and slightly disturbing)
Bazille is definitely addictive, I've gone from not sure to wow in little time... the more you play the more it opens up!
The lag generators are so simple and so useful... you can route audio through them as well and they work as filters... less important now that there are filters 3 & 4... I always route the sequencer output through a lag generator. Just a little bit of A and R gets rid of the clicks...

They are also fun in series with other modules. Send a signal through the quantizer and then the lag generator...

Now when I go use other synths, I feel like they are lacking without lag generators...
