what about a colour hue knob for the gearporn skin, like the one that changes the lights colour in Diva.

That is slightly more complicated. I wouldn't say impossible, but I'd reckon that we'll leave things like that for a quiet moment

will the multi channel controller features become standard on other uhe synths? that will be great with touchkeys. (not to mention the eigenharp if I ever get that going)

But of course! Internally we have this in ACE, Diva and Bazille. We might be able to add it to FilterscapeVA and Podolski next (those have the step-controlled Arpeggiator). If that works then we can possibly add it to Zebra/Zebralette as well.

there isn't yet a released version of Diva or Ace where the multi channel midi controllers works is there? I thought I had the latest. (2352)

I like the layout all on one page of the gearporn skin, but I have trouble with the red. If anyone wants to make a version where its all nice restful greens like the mapping generator, I think i would use it.

If I go into the bazille images folder and turn lots of the images a different colour how do I make that into a separate skin without losing the original GP skin?

or - the gearporn layout with the standard colour theme would be quite usable I think.

I'm fishing around for options that might be low effort, but give a good variety of low eye fatigue looks.

Well, we need to add it to the Duo mode and we need to finalize the note stealing issues for poly as well.

You can do it as a Theme, without any loss. However, I can't explain that right now. Maybe someone else can chime in, EvilDragon? - It's basically the same thing we did with Zebra's Unempty Dark Horse skin.

yep it isn't that important, but sometime I'll look into making themes. There's probably enough clues there somewhere. If anyone has a guide or example I'll look at it though.

don't let me wittering about the trivia like colours keep you from doing something important (like betas of Diva and Ace with the new midi features available)

What one needs to do is go to Support/Themes folder and create a new folder with the name of your custom theme. Copy the whole Images folder (from the base Data folder) in this new folder. Now you can batch-edit those images to change their hues, etc.

Create a "Scripts" folder in the custom theme folder you've created, and copy Bazille_gp.txt there, but rename it to Bazille.txt. All done!

This is the preferred way of doing user-side changes to factory GUIs, because these won't be overwritten when you update the plugin via installer.

EDIT: I'm gonna try and do a green version right now.

EDIT 2: Here's an example of how green version could look!

Not sure if this bug has been reported:

Say we have sequencer sliders set to some various values. Now go ahead and change the skin. All sliders go back to their default values (but their actual previous value is used when the sound is played).
