That's so sad. Thank you for your information. For some reason open source implementations of synths that work on multiple platforms seem to have had a very short life on the net in the past. There was a really good VST on musicdsp.org, simple C, in 2007, but I dont know what happened to it. It may be one of my older computers I havent booted in five years, it also had a kind of arpeggiator in it. I have done what I could to keep my open source online, but if my server gets hacked a third time, I dont think I will go through the effort of keeping my audio software publicly available again.

If its open source, you could always consider a public repository like github.ernestm2 wrote:I have done what I could to keep my open source online, but if my server gets hacked a third time, I dont think I will go through the effort of keeping my audio software publicly available again.
Which neatly segues to pointing out to the OP that sourceforge is probably a worthwhile place search for older examples of code. eg
http://sourceforge.net/projects/zr-3/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mda-vst/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/syntopia/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/buffersynth2/
my other modular synth is a bugbrand
