I think my first message wasn't clear enough.
Is it possible to make a VST plugin which controls 2 imputs at the same time?
Thanx, Thomas.

Can you be more specific?

What do you have in mind?
What would you like to do with the two inputs?

i.e. mix them in some way, use one to control the other, etc.

taussenac, this is in the wrong forum, try taking it to the developers forum.

A vst plug can support an arbitrary number of inputs. You just need to set the amount required in your constructor. How these inputs are handled, and their interaction with each other is of course entirely up to you as the plugin designer.

Not that many hosts support plugins with input configs other than single mono or single stereo though, so your plug will be limited to those few hosts that do (Tracktion and Plogue that I personally know of but there are others).

Our delaydots.com SpectrumWorx have 4 inputs mode for stereo vocoding but not much hosts support for multu inputs.
I found only Nuendo and Bidule.

Besides those mentioned, multi-in is supported by Audiomulch and Buzz. Enery XT too, i'm pretty sure. And there are surely others.

[moved this one to the dev forum too]
