My original design had a bank of 64 presets and I'm moving away from that towards a system of unlimited nested folders and preset files. Seems to be the trend.
With that, I realize that preset numbering is somewhat meaningless, especially if the number and arrangement inside folders can change from session to session.
So, how do you handle midi program change with a nested folder/preset system? What's the right thing to do?
