Something from the 70s or 80s. The pre-chorus (I think) has been buzzing around my brain all day.
(a) That's all I want ... to ... do ...
dah, nah, nah, nah ...
(b) is spend my time with you-uh.
or
(b) makin' love to you-uh.
Up-tempo. Male vocal. Pop song. I can imagine it being played on Top Of The Pops but I'm not sure. Tried every search I could imagine.
Wish I could remember what the hell it's called.

I'm pretty sure Peter Frampton might have something to do with it ... or ... could it be Nils Lofgren? Hmmmmmm ...
The search continues ...
I can't wait to hear this Track ... whatever it is!

I just listened to Alton Edwards - I Just Wanna (Spend Some Time With You) looking for that song on the yootube.
Sorry if that's the song you're after, but....I feel a bit soiled now!

Definitely more of a lite rock edge to it.
I'm thinking Frampton, Lofgren, Rick Springfield ... that kind of thing.

must admit I'm at a loss on this one too
u sure the lyrics that you've got in your head are about right? my searches on the ones above are turning up with lots of 90's soul-pop bands and Etta James covers, but nothing that seems relevant.
I've had it before when I've had lyrics running round in my head but when I've sung them to someone it has turned out that I had the melody but the lyrics were completely different!

Could be that the lyrics are off. I'm getting odd results too. I'll be sure to post when I finally do remember.
