How about a positive thread about dance music?

I'm not sure why Tricky's thread got locked, other than the fact that it's somewhat beating a dead horse, but instead of focussing on what we don't like, we could talk about what we look for and enjoy or have enjoyed in dance music, why we like it and what experiences we've had?
Why limit it to dance music? Well, it's a specific thing, it's both artistic and utilitarian - it must engage the mind and the body, whereas non-dance music only does one of those things (but can do it more thoroughly). For me, the experience of bodily and mental stimulation in perfect synergy is a heady mix.
How about posting a dance track you like and explaining where it takes you and how? Doesn't have to be electronic, or even classified as dance, as long as it makes you want to move.

Maybe I unintentionally locked my thread again? This has happened a few weeks ago, too, then BlueDad unlocked it (the thread about the partitioning of hard disks)...
I wrote a PM to BlueDad again...

I might have locked my thread by checking the wrong box...because it was locked instantly after I posted something. Otherwise there would have been a comment by a moderator...Turello wrote:What happens? what you do?

What I like?
Creative dance songs with funny lyrics like this:
(There's a 4-to-the-floor-kick, too, but the other percussion elements are more present, not only the kick...)

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I think this was one of the first EDM tracks I liked - I liked it just because it was so uplifting and made me want to move:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f17b8m5fniU
that and anything by Electribe 101eg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUoeCsLj4aw
also this Cassandra track I loved about the same time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FkApmj8K1M
just beautiful (and I kindof fell in love with the girl in the video)
oh and this:

Good dance music is good music. I don't care that it's 'dance'.
One of my all time favourite CDs..
this one still gives me goosebumps
