Yes, Steve Reich was one of Edgars inspirations.

Hi zag4139@comcast.net,
the used synths for my Faber track "Tangerine Moon" are Tubeohm Bruno III, AlgoN and Predator.
I used also Groove agent 3 for the drums. The e-guitar is a real e-guitar played by Freddy Schlender.

Wonderful track indeed, very recognizable in style.Gucky wrote:Hi zag4139@comcast.net,

As I posted here before, my track was not composed as a tribute to Edgar specifically, as he was still alive when I composed it. But as it was heavily influenced by TD and was meant as a tribute to the early years of the band, it is now of course a tribute to Edgar's legacy as well.

Thanks. And indeed it was inspired by the 'Virgin years' of the band, which is the part of their catalog that I have on CD completelyGucky wrote:Hi crimsonwarlock,
like your track. It sounds like Tangerine Dream in the seventies!

Here is a loose cover version of Silver Scale I did after hearing the news.

I can't wait for his autobiography to be released later this year.

Apparently Peter Baumann met up with Edgar not long before with a view to working together again and it was looking like it was going to happen.

I'm happy to see Beat Magazine devoting a page to Edgar Froese's memory in their April issue.
