Hello,
What is needed is a VST/VSTi vector and resizable virtual midi keyboard controller. It could be piano style or any of the many alternatives layouts. Show only white/black keys. A grid to remap the midi keys. Have a chord helper. Velocity sensing by where the key is struck. Let Linnstrument, Axis 64, Continuum and Starlabs be the guide.
https://www.google.com/search?q=alterna ... i+keyboard+
And on top of all that a full functionality virtual Kurzweil Expressionmate type ribbon controller enable midi expressiveness. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may00/a ... rzweil.htm
Perhaps include some realtime midi fx or an arp.
And obviously this will be multi-touchable.
We are moving into the Windows multi touch era and FL Studio and Sonar are leading the way. I have already purchased a multi-touch monitor and now am looking for apps that will take advantage of the multi-touch capability.
What is currently available for Windows? There are a few for iPad but he additional real-estate that Windows offers will make this virtual Multi-Touch Midi Keyboard Controller more useful.

I have been looking at Usine for a while.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Usine Hollyhock

If it was a VST/VSTi I would have gotten it already.
I could not find that they have a keyboard like the one I am requesting.

Let me scale down my request.
What I need is a VSTi re-sizable and 10-touchable virtual midi keyboard controller.
The typical piano type keyboard with velocity controlled by where on the key it is stricken.
It should work in Windows 10 64 bit.
Because it is a VSTi it can be put on track.
It can also be used in Bidule, IL Patcher/Minihost, EnergyXT and other modular VSTi's.

I may have found one, 32 bit but that should not be a problem.

The XotoPad looks intereting
http://www.feelyoursound.com/xotopad/
but does not have velocity sensing by location of the touch.
Edit: XotoPad does have velocity sensing by location of the touch. Great!
I do wonder if the touch keys can be freely mapped to any midi note.
Unfortunately the Xotopad is a stand alone and not a VSTi.
In any case it is worth considering to buy. It would be an instant buy
for me if it were a VSTi.

Looks like I may have to settle for a standalone virtual midi controller instead of a VSTi for my Windows 10 music PC. The two that may work are:
XotoPad
http://www.feelyoursound.com/xotopad/. I wonder if a virtual midi keyboard with velocity sensing by axis is included.
Usine.
http://www.sensomusic.org This is an unlikely contender as it is a DAW that will be used as a virtual midi keyboard, that is if one is included as part of the 350 addons.
In both cases I need to find how to get a Midi out. Midi yoke or similar may be required. Not happy about this as if these two apps were made as VSTi’s I would have no issues. They would simply work.
Comments and advice are welcome.

Do you mean Version 1.1?VariKusBrainZ wrote:The previous version of Usine works as vsti and us available to licence owners.

Something to consider if or when I get Usine.
Right now the XotoPad is the more likely candidate
for purchase. If I had known that here would be
such a shortage of virtual midi keyboards I may not
have gotten the multi-touch monitor.
There are many music creation tablet apps that
I hope will be ported tot he Windows platform.

Found one more keyboard.
This is VSTi and FREE!
Cales. Piano type keyboard
http://www.codefn42.com/cales/index.html
I do not believe that this has velocity capability.
I just hope it is mutli-touch.
The Velocity Scaler can add velocity randomness.

I will check it out when my computer is up again.

Is Usine 1.1 is 10-touch capable?VariKusBrainZ wrote:The previous version of Usine works as vsti and us available to licence owners.
I looked as Usine Hollyhock and it looks interesting to me mostly for the multitouch.
But the real bonus may be the free older version you mentioed if it is multi-touch.

This is an ancient thread, but if anybody is lost in this corner of the universe, here's another option for a multi touch keyboard: https://4drx.com/plugins/product.php?p=VirtualKeyboard
