Hi all,
i had to quickly sample my Cello to help me put together an arrangment, if anyone wants a copy PM me, i've also got a toy piano there as well.
Quick demo clip bellow, all parts are seperate (crec, standard, vibr, and pick + toy piano) but i've just played them all together to be quick, the instruments are Kontakt NKI.
EDIT NEW LINK

I'm able to host this at my works website but have to state that it is in NO way connected or endorsed by directresolution and the file to download represents my work as an individual outside of the company only. In other words, it ain't great so blame me!

Hi, i hadn't checked the size of the samples, sorry I can't email them to people. If anyone has some webspace that can host them, I'll be happy to share these for free.
Reply or PM me if you can host the samples, only 110MB but i can't host anything bigger then around 20MB at the moment.

You could easily just put them into a .rar or .zip file and upload to any of the multitude of free hosting sites. Rapidshare, Megaupload, Yousendit, etc. etc. etc.
Anyway, I would love to hear these and put em to use.

Just made a rar with the files (and plucked out some unused samples) and it's down to 24MB! I can host that, uploading now.
Be aware that these were done quickly so I could get some work done, not a pro job here!
Having said that, I'm really pleased with the sounds you can get from them, worked really well in my acoustic/indie type track.

Let me know how you get on with them, I'll be sampling my Welmar grand piano shortly and when I go up to see my sister next I'll do some Violin samples, if you find these useful i'll post more in the future.

Cheers.
couple of things, there is a convolution reverb on the main output, i think this is saved as part of the instrument multi, i'm not sure. The IR is also free although I didn't create it.
I haven't put any EQ on the strings although they probably need it, i've got an ear infection which means I've got NO highend hearing for the next week so can't mix a thing.
The range doesn't go up any higher on the cello because i've only got 3 strings on mine at the moment, sorry!

No, worries. Hope you all enjoy it, let me know how you get on with it, if you use it in any tracks send me a link so i can hear!
When I get some time I'll have a go at converting to soundfonts so people who don't have kontakt can use it.

Hi Warmer! Thanks for sharing.
Some tune issues but they add a nice "imperfection" touch to them.
Here are the sfz maps:
http://stashbox.org/623646/Warmer-Cello.rar
Put them in the same folder where the .nkm is.
