"The kicks are compressed, EQ'd, ready to use in your tracks"
sounds great thanx!
..but i dont understand the benefit of a compressed & even more eq'd kick before beeing in the context of my track. "this can't work" . which way this kicks are "EQ'd" and "compressed"?
thank you!

Sorry for the late reply) All samples are prepared for easy use in your projects. They are optimally compress and processed. You do not have to use a lot of FX to get them to sound good.

Why compress and eq a kick drum before using it in a track? Especially in a genre that relies on compression (side-chaining) for it's sound. Surely that leads to re-compressing the kick. Pardon my stupidity if the answer is obvious.

You don't need to re-compress the drum, instead of sidechaining you can use a gate and compressor on the rest of the track that you want to "pump". With a good gate it's quite easy and fun.

When side-chaining your not compressing a kick anyway. The kick is usually compressing over stuff.thecontrolcentre wrote:Why compress and eq a kick drum before using it in a track? In order for user was easy to achieve contemporary sound.thecontrolcentre wrote:Why compress and eq a kick drum before using it in a track? For sidechain many people have long used Xfer LFO, Cableguys Volume Shaper and other plug-ins.

bump a bump a bump! the drums sounds like GM and the rest is really terrible 90's euro style. not an alternative for the myloops kicks.
