I've been searching for the Full Metal TR-909 sample pack for a couple days now. It use to be located at http://www.analogindustries.com/free.php (http://www.analogindustries.com/free.php)

It appears that since Analog Industries has revamped their site, the free download section is now missing and the contact page seems to be disabled.

If anyone happens to have an original, unaltered copy of the pack, I (and I'm sure others as well) would greatly appreciate a copy.

Or if anyone knows the new official download link or some other place to get it, that would be just as wonderful.

Ok, I was able to find a pack called Full Metal but it was obviously the wrong one. I'm sure someone knows where to get the right one. ;p

It is listed there, but that site uses the old (dead) link that I mentioned.

Driven machine drums released a free 909 pack just FYI. I think I know the one your talking about, I don't have it anymore, but it was good!

The DMD is good too. And free so...

here's the rimshot from chris' set along with a diagram from the tr-909 service manual. you'll notice the contour follows more or less the curve in the charming diagram :)

here's one from another 909:

it's a nice 909. i've got em and would gladly host em strictly on chris' approval, not without. :)
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

The Analog Industries CR-909 is all mapped with UI in this free SFZ sound bank:

Just need to use any ARIA Engine based player like the free sforzando player to play them.

Thank you, I'll have to check it out.

I don't know why I didn't think of that....
I did send him a message on youtube but have yet to hear back. Thank you. ;p

That'd be amazing if he gave the ok. Not sure he would though with the issues he ran into with his donation experiment. Such a shame he ran into that.

No need for any samples. 8)
I did think of trying Drumazon. Honestly what I'm looking for is the most authentic, accurate, pure (no processing or fx) 909 I can find which I can then use as a base to layer on. It's been a tossup between Drumazon and Chris's.

Thank you David. You you happen to know if between this one and Drumazon which is more accurate, pure, and unprocessed or fx added?

youtube? not really the most effective person-to-person communication system going. he has an account here, runs audiodamage.com, and has a blog at analogindustries, the same site you know the samples used to be at; surely email and those are likely to be slightly more efficient?
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

Don't know about Drumazon, but the CR-909 pack is unprocessed. From the readme
"It has every control on the unit recorded with 5 positions, via a Purple Biz Mk pre-amp/DI in to a Mytek 8x192 A/D convertor at 48kHz/16bit. "
