I've uploaded the very cool G-Town Church Sampling Project sample pack on archive.org. It's for the people who don't like torrents and want a more direct way of downloading the pack. Here it is:

It's the original zip file I downloaded years ago.

Cheers! :phones:

Nice. One can never have too many church organ samples. Thanks!

Cool, thanks SampleScience :tu:

I use the library mostly for the epic percussions in it, but all the samples are of very high quality.

The pack got a good review on Archive.org!!:

These samples are really very good.

Well recorded. Well organised. Lovely natural reverbs.

Lots of applications - I can't wait to get started on a project with these

So many sounds and so, so good.

There's an anvil there? I've played plenty of music in plenty of churches with very different lineups, but an anvil - that's awesome.

Well, I guess churches usually don't tour so they can have an anvil without having to worry about hauling it to the next town and onto a stage. Heh.

On an unrelated note, how do touring opera companies that perform the anvil chorus handle it? Do they transport the anvil or hire new anvils in every town or what?

In a church is the anvil for percussion or a memorable pulpit? I've seen preachers pound on a pulpit. Imagine pounding on the anvil to get your point home. I bet no one goes to sleep during those sermons!
