Yes, I´m referring to this, too. But to my question: you have to buy to whole $ 40 set to get the Vegas?
Or can you separate this modules and buy only the Vegas-set by $ 20? This humblebundle-thing is totally new for me.

Yes, my match says that "+" means you add things - in this case,to get the Vegas,you have to buy the previous modules first, which cost about $ 40. But there you can see a statemt that you could get Vegas for $ 20:

Its pay what you want, pay $20 or more to reach the last tier containing Vegas, so yes, you will get everything.
You don't have to redeem anything you don't want though. You can give it away or whatever, or do nothing at all with it.

Buying the $20 (priciest) one you will get all, no need to buy others.
Having problems activating Vintage effects though. Activation just refuses to pop up on that one, probably gonna write to support

No, it works like: you pay what you want and only get the first couple of items, you pay more than the average and you also get the second batch, you pay 20 or more and you get the whole shebang.
I bought it and it works, its not the current version of Vegas though (which has a nicer GUI and hardware acceleration) but otherwise its uncrippled. The "Edit" version is all I need anyway, not interested in the plugin bundles and DVD architect here.
The other software is current AFAICS, I'm interested in giving WebDesigner a go and see if it can help with creating responsive websites (mine still isn't).
Xara could be interesting too.
IMO it's worth getting for 20$ / ~17€ even if you're only interested in one or two of the contained tools.

The free Blackmagic Resolve is a bit more advanced than Vegas if you have good hardware, but they still aren't fully up there with their audio/plugin engine. Vegas at least had no trouble scanning my VST folder.

YMMV of course.

Serious question time Is there any distortion plugins that can compete with the UAD Vulture culture? Thanks

I just did a shootout and for me, no. I did like fabfilter Saturn, but tried the UA CV against soundtoys decapitator, and to me the culture vulture made the distortion sound like it was a part of the sound, where as decap sounded like something added on top. Both great plugins, but the CV blew them away.

Overload just came out with their version of the Culture Vulture but I haven't tried it yet.

Concerning the Humble bundle Vegas (and other stuff) installation, can anyone where/when in the installer I can define the location? I can´t see any option where I can define the location in my computer where I will the Vagas be, the installer just starts immediately after choosing the Vegas? Of course I don´t want to fill my SSD where the installer as a default will put it.
