I just bought Reason 10 upgrade for $99.
I sent them an email 4 years ago and then again this last year asking for this price. But they refused. So I refused to buy until they dropped it. It's about time.

I think that was the regular upgrade. This one is the upgrade from Essential etc which normally goes for $329.

Yes. This one is the upgrade from Essential for $99. Which is what I've been waiting for years for.
They should have always at least credited those who spent the $99 on Essentials towards the upgrade price at a minimum. But they wouldn't. So until I could get my original value back for my essentials purchase I was willing to hold firm forever if it took that long. Glad they finally wised up.

It's a bit early, but I'm hoping that Toontrack will do a sale on SD3 upgrades for Superior Summer this year. Anyone else thinking that will happen?

Counting on it. If they do (and you are not from within the EU) watch out for it on Time & Space. Toontrack stuff is usually cheaper there because they take off European VAT.Tappistry wrote:It's a bit early, but I'm hoping that Toontrack will do a sale on SD3 upgrades for Superior Summer this year. This is what I thought, but JRR Shop actually had it cheaper than T&S during the holiday sales.mgw38 wrote:Counting on it. Pretty confusing pricing of iZotope products:
the Ozone O8N2 bundle
upgrade from the Music Production Bundle: $ 149
https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-o8n2-bu ... grade-mpb2
the Ozone 8 Music Production Suite
crossgrade from ANY SINGLE adv. product: $ 299
This means, just for paying $ 150 more, you get in addition to the Ozone 8 adv. and Neutron 8, the following WITHOUT INVESTING PREVIOUSLY TO THE MUSIC PRODUCTION BUNDLE:
RX 6 Standard
VocalSynth
Nectar 2 Production Suite
Trash 2 Expanded
Over $1900 in music production tools
Includes 34 individual plug-ins
https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-p ... y-advanced
This is, once again, the real "f_ _ck yourself loyal customer" -policy...

It seems so. However, the regular upgrade was on sale for $99 (even less at retailers) around Christmas, so it has been this cheap (actually cheaper) for the standard upgrade.bharris22 wrote:So the upgrade from Reason Essentials to Reason 10 is $99, but the upgrade from Reason 9 (for example) to Reason 10 is still $129??
