There's a hole in the market for a cheaper multi-channel 5.1 spectrum analyzer and it looks like Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst Multi would be a perfect candidate, because it's essentially almost there.
All you'd need to do is be able to assign the multiple channels of a single 5.1 track to the separate channels of the FreqAnalyst Multi. It can currently be done with some clever (read: annoying) routing within the DAW, but it would be relatively trivial to do this for single surround track or output bus.
Has Blue Cat considered this? Is it likely to happen? Thanks for any info!

Hi,
yes, there has been some demand for 5.1 analysis tools. We have been thinking about it lately but it's not (yet) high in our priority list. So it's likely to happen, but I can't tell for sure it's going to be soon.
