breakdown in megabytes of soundset categories

Hi Paul, could you post what each soundset breaks down to in megabytes or at least a general idea? I know that the ebass, acoustic and electric guitar soundsets must be large so I'm wondering how big the synth and other instrument categories are?

the synths altogether is about 700meg
i double checked and still it seems a lot to me but i am wasted,but if paul doesnt get back to yoou before i get back on mymusic pc ill have another look

I saw this in the other thread and was about to reply but this is a better Place ..

I want to add the megabyte size to the Soundset list on our site.
I will tell each sounds size eventually there.

But for now it breaks up like this as for folders size. (Quick approximate totals here)


MT Bass Guitars_Electric = 194 megabytes

MT Bass Guitars_Synth = 41 meg

MT Drums and Percussion = 40 meg

MT Guitars_Acoustic = 158 meg

MT Guitars_Electric = 213 meg

MT Guitars_Synth = 35 meg

MT Instruments = 80 meg

MT Synth_Bass = 58 meg

MT Synth_FX = 45 meg

MT Synth_Keys - Leads = 140 meg

MT Synth_Pads - Strings = 126 meg

MT Vol1 HW Classics = 340 meg

Waveforms = 19 meg

Total = approx 1479 megabytes



That was what we felt would give the widest use of the product out of the Box. We wanted to be as versatile as possible, and allow ManyStation to work for many different genres of music, but still contain decent size sample sets.
Don't forget to see our website for the names of each of the Soundsets in the above folders.
