Hmmm ...
If I got it right, this ( very nice looking ) comp
won't be good at compressing a stereo mix in L/R mode,
as left and right are not linkable
and the stereo image would get unstable easily ?

Ummm... Both those cars pictured are Ferraris you know. The first one is just a lot older than the second. Trust me I know my Ferrari I own a 1987 Testarossa.
