I'm really excited to release a pair of vintage style muscle compressors, GTO and GTX, available now as a pair for $29 and for a limited time, GTA is included for free
GTO and GTX are a pair of vintage style 'character' compressors, designed like their muscle car name-sakes for brute power, pure speed and to make a loud noise. They have everything you'd expect in a thorough-bred compressor, but are tuned for maximum control and ease of use, each with their own unique vintage colouring on top.
GTO is a peak compressor, designed for raw power and lightning response. GTX has a smoother RMS delivery with further refinement in the shape of a knee control. They both feature super-fast attack and release times and have a wide range of threshold, ratio and output boost, so they can cover everything from subtle correction to death-by-compression, with everything in between. With an external sidechain, wet/dry mix for NY compression and a hard limiter too, you can really push these babies to get pumping bass and block-rockin' beats. The metering covers input, output and gain reduction, showing real-time and peak level
more info, features list, VST demos & audio demos here >>> http://www.delamancha.co.uk/GTO.htm
You can purchase the pair for $29 and until the 7th November 2009, GTA will be included for free. GTA is a stripped-down, hot-rodded, limited edition version of GTO, with less features but more flavour
All plugins are Windows VST only. Demo versions are fully functioning but have 1s of noise every 20s. There are also over 20 audio demos on the GTO / GTX webpage
Happy Squashing!

I don't have Samplitude, but it's taking about 1 to 2 seconds here on all my hosts. How long is long for you?

I've counted 8 seconds on the GTO. I would imagine the GTX is the same.
That applies to Wavelab as well. However, I did not bother mention it since my
version will not accept multiple input channels.
Cheers!

that's odd, is it something Samplitude is known for?
I tested in Cubase 4.5.2, Sonar 7.0.2, Ableton Live Lite 7.0.16, FL Studio 9, Reaper 3.13, Renoise 2.1, energyXT 2.5.1, energyXT 1.4 and Podium 2.22
I'm getting 2s at most, less in many. I have a Core2Duo 2.26 GHz and 3GB RAM if that makes a difference

Not at all.
Samplitude is very friendly on any computer platform. I have no issues on CPU
load. The compressors work fine, they just take long to load.
I'll try it on my main DAW tommorrow (it is not connected to the Internet) and, see
if it loads faster.
I believe I have one of your old VST Compressors. Did you ever make a VST
Compressor that was Black with knobs that resemble the Shure AMS 8000?

I'm getting about 2 seconds load time in Samplitude 10.21. for both plugs.
Initially the GTX acted weird for me. After a minute or two in use, no more noise bursts were occurring, and the threshold no longer activated any gain reduction.
i've since restarted things and it appears to be functioning properly as a demo at this point.
