Oh I missed the "worst name" yeah ! I'm not good at filthy games... :cry:

Here's a preset that should really be called "Warped 16mm" or something that suggests a broken 16 millimeter film projector. However, the contest is for good presets with bad names.

<ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.1" presetName="ScreaminBunnies" Mix="1" Depth="0.549000025" StereoWidth="0.5" Delay="0" Feedback="0" Spread="0.61500001" Slope="0.5" Skew="0.5" Random="0" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="1" DiffSize="0.206122443" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="0.5" LowCut="0.0804020092" HighCut="0.195979893" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.0160160158" DetuneDepth="1" VibratoRate="1" VibratoDepth="0.181999996" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.375" DriveOutGain="0.75" DriveNoiseGain="0.401111126" FeedbackRotate="0.0900000036" SmoothingTime="0.0192192197" ColorMode="1" DelaySync="0" type="0.291666657" DiffEnable="0" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="1" Speed="0" InputPan="0"/>

The name comes from a breakfast cereal I thought up right at the edge of sleep:

"Screamin' Bunnies: They Scream When You Pour Milk On Them!™"

You can keep it as clean as you want! The name just needs to be bad in some way. I was tapping into some horrible New Age sounding names last night, but whatever inspires you to go "that's not very good at all, is it?" is what I am looking for.

Your bunnies can scream in a very cool way when the feedback is pushed !

I have a confession to make:

I REGULARLY come up with these kind of preset names

For an edgy Easter breakfast.
"Hey kids, let's make the bunnies scream before we go find the Easter eggs!"

oh do bunnies scream, yes they do, and ear piercingly loud. My cat caught a rabbit when I was a kid and brought it up too our porch alive and shrieking. Any surrounding neighbors would have thought someone was getting slowly repeatedly stabbed and prodded with a hot fire poker. Rabbit survived. Cat just wanted to bring us a preset. But it's the last thing anyone wants to hear coming from their yard late at night.

I found an MP3:

http://waterandwoods.net/downloads/rabbitdistress.mp3

I tried to find some videos, and learned a valuable lesson: NEVER SEARCH FOR VIDEOS OF A RABBIT SCREAMING. Seriously, nothing good will come of that.

Anyway, here's another preset for ya. This is fun with vocals.

:lol: I just realized I mispelled "present" as "preset" and of course firefox didn't tell me because I spelled it right. Ubermod must be modulating my subconscious, or it's a combo of working 12 hours on little sleep and a few coffees and an energy drink. Brain tells me internet/audio/vsts, body says sleep... the ongoing war

I know. I'm not sure this is something I should be proud of.

I'm pretty good at creating diffusion networks that can be inserted into delay paths, but I need to create some plugins where I leave the diffusion out. So far, I have 3 actual reverbs out under my corporate name (Shimmer, Room, VintageVerb), and another chorus/delay unit that can do a pretty decent reverb (ÜberMod). FreqEcho is the only thing that CAN'T do reverb.

I'm reminded of a cook I once knew, whose spaghetti sauce tasted very close to his chili. I need to make sure that I create some plugins that DON'T degenerate into some diffused reverb slop.

Here's a reverb preset for ÜberMod. HOORAY.

<ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.1" presetName="HangVerb" Mix="1" Depth="0.458000004" StereoWidth="0.5" Delay="0.586600006" Feedback="0.731999993" Spread="1" Slope="0.579999983" Skew="0.5" Random="0.0799999982" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="0.815999985" DiffSize="0.100000001" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="0.663999975" LowCut="0" HighCut="0.323618084" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.0720720738" DetuneDepth="0.620000005" VibratoRate="0.107769422" VibratoDepth="0" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.770833313" DriveOutGain="0.229166672" DriveNoiseGain="0.333333343" FeedbackRotate="1" SmoothingTime="0.0990990996" ColorMode="0" DelaySync="0" type="0.375" DiffEnable="1" Drive="0" DrivePrePost="1" Speed="1" InputPan="0.125"/>

This one has a really strange decay characteristic. A smooth reverb would traditionally use a greater Diffusion size, and rely on the diffusors to get the reverb sound. This preset, on the other hand, uses as short of diffusors as I can get away with, and relies on the taps to build the density. The result has a smooth frequency response and a high echo density, but a weird decay that can sound like an echo.

Great one! Yeah love the decay and its strange modulations, very chorusy reverb. Wait...Sean Costello made a reverb preset, how could that be ?!!! :hihi:

Sean, it's not even 9/11... where shall I look for shelter ? :help:

:D

Could someone help me with his FAQ:
I have Valhalla Room. UberMod and VVV. My system is Win 7 64 bit. Would you give me some instructions to install the presets.
So what should the paths be for my preset folders, pretty please?
