It doesn't get better than Nebula, considering that the programs are actually taken from real hardware warmth.

Is there a delay in the haas!?RunBeerRun wrote:Haas delay
On topic - Saturn and Faturator are working well for me. Rolling off some highs with a good lowpass filter and adding some drive also works nicely, just enough of a cutoff to soften the highs, not completely cut them off.
Using a sound activated noise adder such as Sonitex to add a tiny bit of noise on the transients also works well for my taste, and if you push it you can get into lo-fi territory

Cytomic's 'The drop' has a saturation function, which I imagine works similarly to the UAD Moog. As Andy adds more filter types in there, the saturation choices will increase. At the moment running the default preset, with Drive turned up and then boosting the Pre gain gives some really lovely thick saturation options.

I've been using it for that pleasant thickening/mojo infusion thing as well, even when I'm not looking to filter the source (at least not in any obvious way). I like the way it sounds better than some plugins I've tried that were dedicated solely to saturation/distortion.Mogular wrote:Cytomic's 'The drop' has a saturation function, which I imagine works similarly to the UAD Moog.
