Fryer (download)
Today I've got another oddball fuzz plugin for you. This one's pretty simple -- one knob to control the strength of the effect, one to kick in notch filters to suppress some annoying resonances, and a mix knob.
How it works: it holds a sample value, and it accumulates another value from incoming samples until the difference is great enough, then takes that for its new held value. So it adds "steps" akin to bitcrushing, except that the values it uses for stepping are variable and dependent on what's gone before.

Sounds cool on clean guitar, the sound reminds me of a pedal called "Cyberdrive", the pedal was actually just a basic sound, but the name should have sounded like this.
