i did it quite well with effectrix.

You could do it by sampling a beat and looping it, then closing the loop range so the sound gets tighter and higher, then add some pitch bend. Shortcircuit is a free sampler that's really good for this kind of thing.

i did it with battery3. recorded a synth one-shot. loaded it into battery and made a loop which i shortened in length. to do this i had to put the loop length parameter into the modulation matrix, i didnt know that this was possible. it works fine. battery4 doesnt have a loop section.

i think you can do it with sylenth1 aswell putting cuttoff in LFO section and then max gain and then making automation clip of rate.

You can do it will any looper or sampler with a loop function.

Use something like NI guitar rig traktor looper, stutter edit or Effectrix. From this is a trial and error sort of thing.

If you use the sampler, bounce the part of the track you want to loop and then set the loop function and modulate the loop length.
