btw, why does it offer unlimited midi-tracks, if you can use a maximum of 10 software-instruments and have no midi-out? :nutter:

So that some folk will say it's a good deal.

Multi-timbral instrument plugins. Or several simultaneous MIDI clips triggering one mono-timbral plugin or one channel of a multi-timbral plugin (impossible to do with just one MIDI track, since clips on a track are mutually exclusive).

I'm sure there are other uses, but I'm relatively new to Live (using Live Lite M-Audio edition), so I'll defer to the experts.

By the way, is there any documentation to the different limitations of Live Lite bundled versions???

The problem is that allot of the time you'll get cookin' on a song and there will be one of these limitations. Which of course makes the user think "boy, I should would like to not have these limitations" which is the hook........ya know?

Usine is definitely incredible for the money!

Tho I'm finally learning to love all my sequencers (Renoise, Live, T3, Usine, Mulch) for precisely what they do well. :band2:

Charging 150€ for a bad demo is really a shame.

For now those greedy musician rippers are blacklisted. Ableton for sure will never see my money.

Personally, I don't see why everyone who thinks $150 is overpriced is getting so uptight about it. Vote with your wallets, DON'T BUY IT!!! Buy the full version instead or stick with a bundled Lite version if that does it for you.
As I've said before, as a DJ Performance tool it's far better value than the full version and if I didn't have the full version already I'd be voting with my wallet by buying it.
Having the choice of 3 versions is unquestionably better than having the choice of 2 or 1, so choose and FFS QUIT WHINING!!!

Yes, we should never talk about anything ever. All forms of human communication should be exclusive monetary transactions followed by a smiley graphic.

Here's five bucks. :singer:
