An Ableton product rep once showed me one of his Live tracks and it sounded bad. That said, I'll be the first one to admit I don't know how to use Live properly.

A group of stems sounds the same inside of Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, and Reaper. The same group of stems sounds different in Live.
do you have any proof of this?
ie can you provide us with a mixdown from each of those hosts with the same stems and nil additional processing within the host?
or are facts the work of the dvil now?

There have been plenty of null test that have shown that most host sound the same with stems (I am fairly sure Ableton is included in that though ?)

I have a feeling Live may be considered 'bad' because (if I can recall correctly) timestretching for beats is default, so listening to straight recorded audio may sound a bit bad unless you turn off time stretching or change the algorithm. But I haven't used Live since 5.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Gee.

I guess we need to reintroduce this then...

Sure, that's easy to arrange. I'll post something by 11:00pm EST, April 3.

ugh...no thanks, that place is the hairy-ass-crack of the internet. A dreadful realm I never want to set foot in. It has spawned some of the worlds most disgusting creetons.
I'm not actually a big fan of bouncing booby anime babes, but I was just making the thread more exciting is all.

When you get as old and decrepit as I am they all sound the same anyways.

You're right, they're always nagging you to do things for them, but they want some freedom, then god forbid when you want your freedom they tell you "No".

Oh sorry, are we talking about DAWs again? I thought we were talking about babes, or, women in general.
