The boxed version seems to be available at Thomann:

Hopefully a demo version will be available soon. Would be interesting to see how it works in comparison to Live 9 Suite which is my main hots at the moment.

Are there option in preference to disable Animation effect for the UI which occurs for example when folding devices and panel?

A quote from the review:
Ableton's DAW, with its non-linear, clip-focussed workflow, has largely existed in its own space, somewhat removed from the rest of the market.
I use Live since a long time but rarely use the clips tbh (while sometimes they could be useful...). Some people seem to ignore that you could use the arrangement view with "normal" tracks and normal piano roll...
This means that Live could do both the so called "non-linear" and "linear" workflow.
While some seem to say that other DAWS are "More linear" than the arragngement view in Live it is still wrong to say that Live is only non-linear.

That whole review seems to be a comparison of the features of Bitwig and Live.
Not sure how far the author is biased against Live or not.

@Ingo: I think the key word there is "focused".
You'd be hard pressed to argue workflow in Live isn't predominately driven by clips.
Some (like yourself) may never use them but I'm positive a huge majority do.

Bitwig in normally concept. Already march 26 and still nothing about release )))

Their Twitter feed shows
"a hint for all those waiting: we are based in Berlin and will have a good night's sleep before releasing it tomorrow. U should, too! :-)"

Live's linear sequencer function is so primal and has least functionality among the other full fledged daw. Session view is the most competitive part of this software. I guess that reviewer took it into consideration even though it isn't directly mentioned.

Dammit! Release it already! I've had a good nights sleep, done my morning workout, had breakfast, got showered, had coffee, tea, checked my emails, twiddled my thumbs. I am out of things to do.
