Not bad. Pretty simple, built-in effects, nice drum sequencer, uses VSTs. Like anything else, you have to get used to how it wants to do things. But for ten bucks, you could do WAY worse.

I bought it about $5.99 just for fun.And yes,it looks like FL Studio. It's good for loops and live performans. It has no mixer. And there is drumtrack. It's good but you can't add VSTi to this track.Only you can add your own samples.
My primary DAW is Samplitude.I don't use it but if they add ReWire option,i can use it everytime.

No, the GUI doesn't remind me about FL Studio at alltunca wrote:And yes,it looks like FL Studio.
The way the effects are added reminds me more of EnergyXT

Actually yes,it doesn't look like FL.I didn't mean GUI.It's about my bad English.Numanoid wrote:No, the GUI doesn't remind me about FL Studio at alltunca wrote:And yes,it looks like FL Studio.

A big plus is that Stagelight loads VST
So if you want to use your drum sampler/synth of choice, you just mute the inbuilt drum channel, and load your vst in another channel instead

You're right but drumtrack has different editing interface and easy to write midi drums with drumtrack. It works like built-in sampler track. And if you don't want to use,you can delete drumtrack or you can add more than one.Numanoid wrote:And?tunca wrote:t's good but you can't add VSTi to this track.Only you can add your own samples.

so, if you're interested check the in-app store... still hope that there is no catch! hehe

Pretty nice. Emulates Live's workflow (more or less), has most of the basics (found no way of "freezing" a midi instrument track), surprisingly stable (and lightweight/fast).
Nice embedded tutorials.
64-bit version can load 32-bit VSTs, cool.
The interface seems geared for tablets (nice but mouse-heavy in desktop), I think it would be really nice in a laptop with a touchscreen.
Recommended.

It looks nice. I don't have touch screen but I can use the mouse
Is it for windows or ...? Sure I'll buy one if it is that cheap! But after my win 10 upgrade finishes, I'll check it.
