Hi everybody!! i would like to know if my M-audio oxygen 49 can be mapped, both in Renoise and/or Cubase, to play at the same time different sounds from vsts in different octaves.
Let's say for example that i would like to have a patch from a vst X playing basslines in the low octave and then a lead/pad sound through another vst Y on the high octaves...is this possible and how can it be done? thank you!!

You can do that with the help of http://ddmf.eu Metaplugin($49) and then the piz midi plugins at InsertPizHere forum which are free.
You can load different synths inside MetapluginSynth plugin.
Then with these midi plugins filter keyboard range to each of them, transpose etc.
Just draw the connections you want - and done.
So, Yes you can...

I don't know your controller features, but many controllers can make the splits directly on the keyboard by assigning each part to different midi channels.

It's VST midi plugins that can process midi in many ways in realtime even.plotinus wrote:Thank you, this is great! if i got it right, the InsertPizHere plugin you're talking about is midiKeyboard,am i right? thanks!
It's 20-30 different plugins that target a functionality - read the pdf that describes them.
