Ableton: Anyone know how to crop or delete audio in session view?

I just want to delete the highlighted section of the song (below) but cant. Delete is disabled and crop doesnt actually crop, it just reloads the same audio, the same length in the same clip track regardless of what you select !!! :dog:
I just want from bar 1 to 9 :x

You bring that little arrow from the top far right side down to bar 9.
