Will I get access to the Bitwig installer if I buy the pdf version of Beat? Or do I have to buy the print version?
[Edit: OK, I found out I would have to buy the print version with the DVD]

Sure, you will get access to it.
(1) Buy the PDF version on Falkemedia's homepage
http://www.falkemedia-shop.de/musik/bea ... -2015.html
(BESTELLEN -> order the print edition, DOWNLOADEN -> PDF edition, HEFT+PDF -> both)
(2) Go to http://www.serialcenter.de and request the serials for edition 12/2015 ; there you will get your BWS 8Track serial.
(3) Go to http://www.bitwig.com, create an account and register the serial.
(4) There (at bitwig.com) you can also download your installer.

Sure, but since this is magware and not freeware it's ethical to buy the magazine to get it. And 'cmon 4.49 EUR for it is not too much.

I must say I'm amazed that Beat made the serialno. so easily accessible.
Usually you just get the passwords for the archives on the DVD.

Well, both Bitwig and Beat have Your email now. B8T becomes then more adware than magware
And for Bitwig it works better than demo, imho ("demo mode with saving and exporting disabled").
You can actually make some music in it, save Your projects, play with it for several days not losing Your work.
And then maybe You will buy the full version, when 8 tracks won't be enough.

But it does happen.zxant wrote:I must say I'm amazed that Beat made the serialno. so easily accessible.

It was the same for those AAS libs during the summer, and it is the same for Tracktion 5 with latest Beat Studio special issue
If they just could open a members area for those buying or subbing the mag, they didn't have to ship out DVD's and could offer stuff as cloud storage.
Usually 70% off what is included on their DVDs is freeware samples that already are available on the net to download.

Hi,
first of all, thanks for your interest in Bitwig Studio 8-Track.
Although it is technically possible to download the software without having bought the respective Beat issue, it's not right. We hope that you do the right thing and buy the magazine to support Bitwig and Beat, so that we can bring you attractive special versions of music software in the future.
If you're interested in buying a Beat issue, feel free to drop us a mail via http://www.beat.de/kontaktformular.html. If you're interested in a subscription, please head over to http://www.falkemedia-abo.de/aboservice/beat/jahresabo.
Best regards from the Beat team

Hmm.. according to Dutch law provoking a crime is a felony. Just saying such practises are highly corruptive. Don't look at me; I'm just Satan's parrot
