So i am looking to upgrade guys
I need some very accurate, colourless monitors to analyse mixes on. Budget is around £600, smaller the footprint the better frankly and of course with the widest frequency range possible!
Does anyone have any suggestions that might fit the spec? or even better, first hand experience with anything they would recommend for the job?

For a colorless monitor around that price try Equator Audio D8's (amazing monitors & even goes as low as 45hertz). If bass is what you're after try Focals new alpha series. Hope this helps.notonlybutalso wrote:So i am looking to upgrade guys

I've just got a pair of Focal Alpha 50's and I'm very impressed with the bass response from them. Theres only slightly less bass from them then my old KRK Rokit 6's, and its much cleaner sounding low end too.willdub1 wrote:For a colorless monitor around that price try Equator Audio D8's (amazing monitors & even goes as low as 45hertz). I am really leaning towards a pair of D8's, i hear that the midrange clarity from the coaxial design is amazing. I hadn't considered the Focals, but if they are as bassy as the RP6's then that might be slightly too bass heavy for me
