Hi folks,
I'm struggling to gt the complete picture of this wonderful DAW.
I'm running Linaro on the Pi2 (a version of Linux). I'm assuming Tracktion 4 will work, but I am yet to try. The question is:
Does Tracktion have built-in instruments? I cannot see any MIDI/VSTs besides those I have installed on my machine.
Many thanks,
Best,
Enrico

I wouldnt assume tracktion is going to work. Its most likely made for x86 and the pi is ARM. I doubt they give you the source to recompile it yourself so it probably isnt going to work on there. Much like you cant run OSX apps made for x86 versions of OSX on the older ppc models

No, I don't think so.enricobertelli wrote:The question is: Does Tracktion have built-in instruments?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

It's quite an interesting move from the Tracktion company.

If it handles multiple audio outputs and sending MIDI out precisely, that's a very intriguing system.. Sort of like building a modern multitrack recorder/music workstation -- relatively cheap.
edit: oops, didn't realise this was a few years old thread that got bumped. Oh well, anyways ..
