FYI: The function exists for samples, not (yet) for audio files.
Samples and audio files are two different things, although it's a challenge to minimize the differences between them as much as possible. So i agree with your point http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 24#4096224

Your message says auto-slicing isn't possible. Are you now saying it is possible?

I'm not talking about an auto slice function but about the "Create MultiSample Using Locators" function, which currently only exists for samples not for audio files.

Well, even if the different treatment of both remained, you could still sort of queue up the commands, so a create "multisample from selection locators" command would in effect be two commands: create sample from selection>create multisample from locators.mutools wrote:FYI: The function exists for samples, not (yet) for audio files.

Auto-slice would be sweet, but in the meantime it's not too much of a job now thanks to the comprehensive shortcut system - I have 'I' bound to add new locator.
