What does the function: VST Plug-ins > Setup Smart Bypass ????

It sets the number of milliseconds of silence before MU.LAB stops running the plugin (i.e. calling it to process input), as far as I know.

Ok, but where do I find this function in context or other menues?? I only found it in "Edit shortcuts" ... I tried with a plugin loaded, but nothing happened...

So, how can I use this???

Oh! Right-click a VST effect. Down near the end of the menu.

Aah I see, it's only for effects and not for instruments, correct???

Oh... maybe it's not "silence" its monitoring but whether the output buffers are unchanged from the input. That would make sense only for effects.

looks like a similar function in Fruity loops : clever use of vsti for CPU load reducing ?
